"A Housewarming Fire" is the "Post-Neo-Industrial Electro-Metal-Hardcore Avante-Garde Ambient-Improv Jazz-Fusion Classically-Influenced" musical result of the combined efforts of Justin Evans and other contributing artists from the Chicago, IL and Bloomington, IN areas. Such artists include Jeremy Jeffers (Samples, Guitar) and Jared Grubb (Samples). Justin tends to play stuff like Guitar, Bass, Synth and programs things. He likes percussion too.
Live photography and/or video credits go to Rana Salame and Sarah Ralph.
Due to an overwhelming lack of success in the Chicago area, Justin Evans of A.H.F. has been releasing "sketch" tracks to refocus the direction of the band under the pseudonym Apokrupha.
There exists a Myspace page for you to hear new material in the form of rough tracks and for performance dates.
To hear the earlier incarnation of this project, check out Segmentation Fault, hosted by the folks at Team:Abunai for MP3s of earlier work by Justin Evans of A Housewarming Fire and others.
